A new version of Google Web Toolkit (GWT) was released on June 9, 2022. This is very good news, as it has been a while since the last official release. Thanks to everyone involved!
A major change introduced is the dropped support for Internet Explore (IE) 8, 9, and 10, which means there will be no specific compilations for these browsers. Actually, this is not a surprise since these versions of IE are not supported by Microsoft. However, some customers are still using these browsers, especially in industrial computers. So, with that in mind, we will migrate to the new version, but with caution. We will keep the option to build with GWT 2.9.0 which has compilations for IE 8, 9 and 10.
